Thrive Prestige

Favorite riding story if you have one?
Honestly I don’t have a favorite. I have had so many awesome memories & experiences over the years that I can’t name just one. One period of my snowboarding career that sticks out for me, is my #RoadtoSochi. It definitely had its challenges and even though I never intended to compete at such a high level, I was so honored to have been invited. I am grateful for all the awesome people I was able to meet, experiences I had, and places that I got to travel to.

Why do you love to snowboard?
I love being outside. Snowboarding gets me stoked. My friends get me stoked. People throwing down gets me stoked! I love progression, on all levels. I love pow and flying through the air.  When I’m on my board, I can be present & I feel free.

When you aren’t snowboarding what are you most likely finding yourself getting into?
In the summer you’ll find me cruising on my bike, playing volleyball, working out and/or hang out on the boat or at the beach.

What is your favorite area on the mountain? Jumps, rails, natural terrain?
I don’t control nature, so I just take advantage of whatever conditions Mother Nature provides. If she gifts us with some pow, you’ll find me riding the fluffy white stuff, hiking, and looking for natural features to pop off of. No pow? No problem – I love sunny blue bird park days too!

Where do you see yourself in five years snowboarding wise?  Traveling to another country?
I’d say that in 5 years, I’ll be grateful to find myself in the same place I am now – riding with a smile on my face. Doesn’t matter where or how, if I’m riding, I’m happy! I do love to travel & check out new terrain too.

Do you have a pre-boarding ritual or something you need to have on you at all times on the mountain?
Not really, but I do like to stretch before I get out there. And eat a big yummy breakfast!
